i've discovered something really great tonight
i never draw.
i spent an hour drawing with my eyes closed. it started as a real good attempt at drawing sketches for my lino cut. then i got tired and closed my eyes and produced things so brilliantly.
i began re-writing the word “peeling” over and over and over again on a page in my sketchbook. i tried writing it with my eyes closed. i tried writing it in block letters with my eyes...

at least i can say that my internship this spring will be worth 6 credits. i think that’s whats keeping me positive. get some credits out of the way, get some good experience, and feel like i’m actually establishing myself a bit more in this mumbo jumbo field of design.

so i’m pretty pissed off that my registration date was later than most people’s, so now two of the design classes i need are all full so i was royally screwed by the registrar’s office. my tuesdays and thursdays for fall semester are now going to be shitty stupid days with art history from 11-12 30, sociology from 2-3:30 and because the morning Design class is full i now...
